The latest image shared on online platforms probably belongs to a case in the early production phase. The image was first spread on Reddit. While the case gives an idea about the overall thickness of the device, it points to a serious protrusion, especially in the camera area.
The rear panel where the camera lenses are positioned is separated from the flat surface and rises outward. This detail shows that the phone has made additional space for the rear camera module in particular. In previous leaks, the camera protrusion of the device was only visible from the front, and there was no clear information about the protrusion depth of the module.
With this latest image, it was understood that the camera platform is larger than expected. The fact that the camera protrusion is so pronounced may be questioned by some users in terms of the aesthetic integrity of the device. However, it is said that the technical hardware required for high-resolution camera sensors is located in this area, and therefore the design is shaped like this.
Samsung’s design approach to reduce the thickness of the device compared to previous models in the Z Fold series continues in this model.
